Watts Hospital, brick addition, c. 1955. This building, located just west of the Beall pavilion, was completed and dedicated in December, 1953. Costing over $2.5 million, the new wing housed over 100 new beds, operating rooms, x-ray facilities, and a kitchen. This became the hospital's main entrance and lobby upon the building's completion. It is now called the Joseph M. and Kathleen P. Bryan Living and Learning Center, and houses dormitory rooms, physics, chemistry, biology, the library, and the school's cafeteria. This ink drawing, which also exists in the form of a print, was rendered by Bob Blake in 1955.
